AT THE HOSPITAL

I’m once again seated in the waiting area outside of the labor and delivery area of Lanna hospital. I love how my God has given us this day to celebrate the miracle of Maccabeus’s first birthday and the miracle of my little bubbles being given the opportunity to grow in my beautiful wife.

I love how my God has given me such peace about this whole situation. I also love the peace that he has given Kathleen. Kathleen was given the option for some anti-anxiety drugs to help her relax if she wanted them. I was so encouraged to hear that she had no anxiety. That is such a blessing from the Lord. I was completely behind her either way, but I knew the peace she had could only be attributed to HIM.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:7

My prayer today is this:

“Lord thank you. Thank you for choosing our family for this. Thank you for giving us the peace on the decisions we made, and guiding us as we made them. Lord thank you for loving us enough to design every portion of our life. Thank you that no matter what the outcome of today is, you know you love us and it is your will to do whatever it takes to bring us closer to you. Thank you for loving all my “bubbles” more than I could ever imagine.”

Thank you, Gregg. What a blessing God’s peace is! I am praying that this procedure today will result in a sibling (or siblings) for Mac – Happy Birthday, Mac! – to be a big brother to here in this life. We already know that those precious bubbles are little people who will be with us for all eternity. Blessings upon blessings!
